Essex Collection from Oxford Garden are available in a variety of lengths and will make a wonderful seating statement wherever it’s placed. The beautifully simple design includes thick, heavy legs and a classic corner bracing system. The entire line of Essex benches is built of large 2 1/8” dimensional Shorea lumber, a teak family wood that is more dense and heavy than common teak wood. Shorea wood furniture requires no finishing and will not rot when left outdoors in harsh weather elements. Left untreated, it will soften to a warm shade of gray, similar to the weathering of teak. The original color can be maintained by applying a seasonal coat of teak oil.
